Literally perfect. For me anyway. Set in Victorian England referencing the PreRaphaelite Brotherhood, morbidity and art. Weirdly I had only just finished watching Desperate Romantics when I picked this book up and had NO idea the PRB were in this novel too!! Fate.
I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t care about creepy guy or Victorian girl with weird sister. Sorry.
