THE WRITING *CHEFS KISS😘. there were some big words in here so I learned some shit too, Kallum has my heart he is psycho but so intriguing, Halen is also such an interesting character! I loved the philosophy and Greek mythology with occult mix so dark and intriguing. And the twist at the end sooo good.

Lovely Bad Things, written by Trisha Wolfe, is book one in the Hollow’s Row series. This is my first book by this author, and I have already started book two. I decided to go with the audiobooks because duh - Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers. That pair together is amazing, and I would happily devour any book they narrate as a team.
This book was all over the place, but I was here for it. You have a possible serial unaliver that is a deliciously tattooed and well-known (and sexy af) professor that is absolutely obsessed with a criminologist who got him committed to a mental institution. LOL! Halen and Kallum are freaking hot together, sooo spicy. Kallum rarely gives a straight answer and is confusing as hell. Speaking in riddles and dark magic, I was left scratching my head. Halen is inexplicably attracted to him and doesn’t want to be. She believes he is guilty, but she can’t easily let go of the temptation of him. This felt like a super juicy episode of Criminal Minds. It really was addictive.
The narration was fantastic with my favorite duo. Joe Arden can do no wrong, that's for damn sure. They really breathed life into Trisha’s characters and elevated the story for me. I don’t think I would have had the same response to the book had I just read it.
