This book completely blew me away!! The amount of research Trish had to for it must have been massive. It was an amusing read. Dark, creepy, sexy. As someone interested in some of he topics covered throughout this navel, I really enjoyed that aspect. Kallum and Halen are fascinating, and I am desperate to read more about them. I love Trish's hauntingly beautiful writing. I cannot wait for more. Absolutely five stars!!

▫️Serial killer x FBI agent
▫️Obsessive MMC

I really wanted to love this book.

The FMC, an FBI agent, recruits the MMC, a serial killer who is in jail for murder, to help solve a string of murders.

I went in with high hopes and was disappointed. It was good, but not thrilling and exciting like I'd hoped for. I felt the psychological terminology was too much for the average reader and the author would've done well breaking down explanations and meanings.
I did like the MCs. They were lovable and clearly had great chemistry. The twist at the end was a surprise but sadly, due to the me being confused through most of the first book, I have no draw to pick up the next ones.
