I don’t really know how I feel about this one. It was definitely a roller coaster. I didn’t love the characters but I’m a sucker for a serial killer subplot. The backstory for the investigation was probably my favorite part. The obsession and avoidance aspects around the MCs wasn’t really my jam. And the big reveal was a little lack luster for me honestly. I do plan to read the second book though because I still want to see where the investigation goes.

This was unfortunately not for me.

I was looking for a dark romance, but this story was a little too philosophical for what I was looking for.

I love the narrators for the audio book, but even Joe Arden wasn't able to keep my attention for this story.

I am giving this 2 stars for the narration.

Que libro que literalmente te explota la cabeza

What the heck did I just read??

Okay so honestly this book took me a good bit to get into. I felt a bit too dumb for a lot of it…

First 30% really interesting. The rest was meh. Felt like it tried way too hard to be smart and cool, but overcompensated and it really dragged everything down. Only reason it’s 3 stars and not less is because of Joe Arden’s narration in the audiobook. Won’t be reading the rest of the series.

Well..... that was.... something.
