A great read and I enjoyed Garret and Charlie's history. She's always had a crush on him and unfortunate circumstances made him single again. I adore his young daughter who's very observant, intelligent and intuitive. Such a cute family they've become!

Piper Rayne – Sexy Beast (Single Dads Club, #3)

“It’s time. Time to get a life, time to start over, time to move beyond the past.
The guys in the Single Dads Club would tell you it was time years ago, but until recently, the risk of hurting his little girl outweighed the benefit of getting a piece of ass. Now, with a tween daughter on his hands, one of them needs a female touch in their lives. Jesus, he can’t even think the words ‘female touch’ without thinking of her. Charlotte Rose, Charlie. She’s everything he shouldn’t want, but someone needs to tell that to his damn libido because every time she’s around, he has a constant case of blue balls. There’s a list of reasons why he shouldn’t give into what he feels –she’s his best friend’s little sister, she’s seen him at his most vulnerable, and the biggest one –she’s the first person in twelve years who has the potential to break him.”

Garrett, Garrett, Garrett. One side of me wants to slap his head in with a baseball bat and the other part of me loves the big muscular brooding hot as hell guy. I did loved the book so much. It was so loaded with sadness on Garrett’s part, all the moments he’s scared to see it all happening again, I mean, my eyes really teared up multiple times. Charlie is just the opposite of him really, she loves to live and is such a sweet girl in everything. She has her heart up her tongue and has no filters, which makes this book and the bond between her and Garrett’s relationship only that much stronger and better. She always says what she thinks, even though it’s not always what he wants to hear, most of the time it is something he needs to hear to move on from all his fears. Sydney is such a cute girl too! She really makes this story a lot funnier because of her wise statements and that all while being only twelve-years old. She’s funny and really is a daughter everyone wants later in their life.

All in all, I really loved the book. It was a fun, steamy and emotional book all at once and that makes for the best ones. The story really was great and the background of both characters was well worked out and it really made for a fantastic book.

I can only be positive about this book, so I would definitely recommend it! I also think that this book and Dane’s were way better than Marcus’, so I’m really glad I pushed through and made myself read it. I always had the feeling I was going to like Garrett best and I definitely did. Out of the three men in this series, he was the best in my opinion. It felt so real. Piper Rayne has something with her third books, up until now I think the third book is the best, and this was my third series of her. I loved it.

4/5 stars.

I absolutely love Charlie. She’s strong and sure of herself and of Garrett. She has a moment or two like any of us would. There isn’t an excruciating amount of should I shouldn’t I. Garrett is a sweet man and when he screws up he gets his act together pretty quickly.

I absolutely love growly, brooding men with beards. And boy does Sexy Beast deliver a great one. Garrett is definitely one hell of a sexy beast. I'd gladly volunteer as tribute to heal his hurting heart. I’ve been intrigued by Garrett’s story since I first met him in Real Deal and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. It turned out to be everything I wanted. Piper Rayne continue to astound me with their writing. I’ve read everything of theirs that I could get my hands on and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon.

Garrett is a single dad, a widower, and a growly beast of a man. He’s broody, grumpy, and determined to never commit again. There’s just one problem—Charlie. Charlie is spunky, sweet, and his best friend’s sister. Their relationship is one that’s evolved over the years. Charlie’s crush on Garrett seems to be an open secret. Garrett’s feelings for her seem to be more of a secret. There is a ton of great push and pull between them. I loved the witty banter. The chemistry of them was amazing. They were well-written, complex and dynamic.

I will admit that I was hoping for a big KABOOM moment when Garrett finally got his head out of his bum. But that didn’t happen. There is a small amount of drama and it was kind of predictable. But neither of these things detracted from my enjoyment of the story. The writing duo of Piper Rayne have become one of my go-to authors for a story that’ll make me smile and laugh. I have loved this whole series, but I can definitely tell you that Garrett is my favorite. I just love a growly beast.

If you’re in the mood for a heart-tugging story about a single dad and his best friend’s little sister, pick this one up. It’s the perfect blend of humor, heat, and sweet.

There are NO words. I cannot express coherently the amount that I LOVED this book, this series, the predeceasing series but more than anything else this dynamic duo of writers. Charlie's sass and determination could lure in and break down the best of men but this broody single dad wants nothing more than to resist his best friend's little sister. This sassy sexy and emotionally charged installment of the single dads club will make you want to take a vacation because of how CHARGED it will leave you. I know I was not able to read anything else for a couple of days once it was finished. Piper Rayne, my loves..... you are killing me in the best of ways x I can't wait to read the next series!

3.5 stars!

I went into this thinking that this would end up being the best book in the series. Charlie and Garrett were such a super cute couple...until Garrett said something that made me go "Oh no he didn't."

But, like the book before this, I did like how he tried to redeem himself, although it didn't fully compensate for what he said.

Still, I thought this was a fun book and series!
