This was cute and I really loved Charlie’s attitude, she was straightforward and a firecracker. Cute story overall
I guess the old saying that you save the best for last is true because this book was fantastic and my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I loved Marcus and Dane but Garrett owned my heart. There was just something about this story that pulled at my heartstrings.
There was a beauty in watching Garrett learn to live and breathe again, and watching that person who helped him be Charlie made it all that more bittersweet. Charlie started becoming a favorite in the last book but she really came into her own in this book. Watching Charlie help Garrett and also watching Garrett grapple with the fact that his baby wasn't that much of a baby anymore made me realize how many fathers must feel watching their baby on the verge of becoming a woman.
I read this as part of the box set and highly recommend this and all books by this author.

This is a fun, entertaining, steamy read. Garrett and Charlie are interesting, relatable, intriguing, fun, complex, wounded, entertaining characters. The path to their HEA is not easy but is entertaining to read. I enjoyed these characters as individuals and a couple. I love the friendship and found family aspect of this book and the series. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment – especially the interactions with the kids. The book is easy to read and get into.

Good till the last drop! If you read the other books you will pick up that Garrett is more to himself, sexy and brooding. Charlie has been crushing on him for sonlong but Garrett has been unavailable emotionally! Their journey together is beautiful ! I loved Garrett! The sexual tension flies off the pages. This is a must read! The writing is great !

The chemistry, the angst, the laughs and the tears in this book all combine to make this one amazing read. I loved it from start to finish and was gripped by every single page. Piper Rayne mix steamy scenes, romance and real life so well in their plots. The books make me laugh, feel irritated, get hot under the collar and even cry a little.
They also write some of the most likeable, yet annoying and very believable characters and this is what makes their books stand out. They feel like friends and you want to spend time hanging out with them, drinking a few beers and having a laugh.
I can't wait to see who they'll introduce us to next because I haven't been disappointed by a single one of their books so I know I'll love the next one too.
