I loved how much Gideon just accepted Milo for who he was. His bluntness. His naivety. And Milo! Sweet Milo just being himself and doing his thing. The fact that he just goes all in on his bookshop. I loved it. Also loved the secondary cast and crew. Just so fun. Gideon's family. Milo's new friends/family. The town.

The portrayal of Autism was icky to me. There was explanation of how he was neurodiverse/autistic, yet we never saw how that translated into his life except for the fact that he doesn’t like wearing pants (though no explanation was given for why that was).

J’ai beaucoup aimé la représentation de l’autisme à travers Milo dans ce livre, c’est un personnage super attachant et honnête. Gideon qui a des allures de bad boy avec des tatouages et piercings mais qui au final est un gros nounours ! Leur relation est mignonne et saine, j’ai particulièrement aimé lire Milo découvrir le sexe car c’était beaucoup plus réaliste que les romances en général ! La plume était belle et les scènes de sexe étaient vraiment bien écrite !
Bref une bonne dose d’amour, de douceur et de galipettes !

DNF 57%. The story itself seemed really interesting, the relationship between Gideon and Milo too, as well as Milo finding how he integrates with the community in town. However, the brazen amounts of sex and innuendos would pull me out of the story every time I started to zone in and visualize things. Lots of disjointed wording and questionable interactions even if it's under the guise of Milos unannounced autism.
