Girl decides to fall in love like a shojo heroine with the help of her older brother and his cute friend and her mangaka mom
The story is sooo cute and the art is so gorgeous! I loved all the dogs and the direct reference to other shoujo manga. Only thing that lowkey annoyed me was the whole glasses thing; it's just unnecessary, she looked so beautiful with them on too.

I really enjoyed this one! It felt like a fresh spin on the whole shy girl gets helped by the popular guy. The cast of characters was great! Loved the family dynamics, felt very wholesome. I appreciated that friendship was centered even though it is focused on finding love. I hope we get more scenes of the female lead interacting and growing her friendships. The makeover scene wasn’t my favorite and I kinda hope she keeps the glasses because they look so cute! Overall, cute and I look forward to how the story will develop!

EEEEE
Ever seen Not Another Teen Movie? Reader of all romance shojos? This manga should scratch all those places. I really enjoyed the female lead, Aoi. She's surrounded by talented family and never really seen herself as the main character to her own story, which I can relate. My brain is stuck on why Aoi would start crushing on some random first year over her classmate Sena!! I need the next volume because this series needs to be continued. Oh, and this series reminds me a lot of High School Debut too.
