I liked this better than the first, probably because I was already involved with the world and characters.
Once again...THAT ENDING.
Some things were predictable and others were maddening because it wasn’t what I wanted, but overall it kept the story progressing and going at a good enough pace.

I got an ARC for review purposes and lets just say this book was SO much better than I thought it was going to be. There's death, love, heart break, and betrayal. I personally still don't like Ridley at all. I'm not really a big fan of any of the guys in this series yet
once again, I'm not disappointed at all. we were left with such an intriguing ending that I cannot wait to start crystal kingdom!
This was a really good sequel. So many things were happening and it was just so good. Loved the plot and character development.

I really enjoyed this book and the continuation of the series. This book picks up where the last one finishes. Bryn and Kasper were sent to Skojare to search for the missing Queen when they find her the Queen had received a warning which had caused her to run away. Bryn is trying to find out what is happening in this other tribe as well as her own.
I was hooked into the story right from the start. I got through this really quickly as I just wanted to know what was going to happen. I had guessed who was behind the plot, however, I still really enjoyed the book. There was a lot more action in this book compared to the first one. The cliffhanger at the end made me immediately reach for the next book as I need to see how the author is going to wrap up the story.

This was another fun reread for me. The mystery in this book is so intriguing and has so many twists and turns. I love the main romance in the story as well. This is just overall, a really fun series!

This book had a slow start. It seemed to keep going off on side stories that didn’t match up with the first one. However, by the end, I was on the edge of my seat. Looking forward to reading the third book.
I think I literally read this in a day. I read this trilogy every year when I go camping. It's cute. Not my absolute favourite but I love this author's work. 10/10 recommend.
