And once again I'm left hanging thank you Amanda Hocking really you had to end the book like that but damn it so good and yes I binge read this book because I just had to see how it all ended and well for Bryn not too well and you know what sucks Ridley has stuck his neck for her and it's unclear if he's coming back in the final book.
At least I just have to wait two more months for the conclusion at least I hope I can wait that long...

I love Amanda Hocking, absolutely LOVE her. The Trylle Trilogy were the first books I got for my Kindle, and since then, I've recommended her to anyone and everyone.
Ice Kissed is the second novel in the Kanin Chronicles. I read Frostfire and I thought that while it's the same world from the Trylle books, it's completely different, but still amazing. There are so many twist and turns in Ice Kissed. I had to play detective and still didn't know what was going on until the last chapter. It was extremely well written with the perfect balance of fights, love, drama and beauty. ANNNNDDDD a cliffhanger ending!
I highly suggest both books, in fact, any book by Amanda Hocking.

I was very.excited for this book after the first. I loved that there was a pronunciation guide of the kanin words in the book. It gets awkward when you realize you have been pronunciating a name or word wrongly. But personally I feel this book kind of plateaued. Yes, the story continues as the reader finds what happened to queen Linnea. We get more Bryn and Ridley drama too. But something about this book felt off, the words felt so one dimemsional and frankly boring. I hope it picks up in the next book.
Spoiler
Personally I was surprised when both of them had sex, it felt so sudden. It was unrealistic that Bryn was on top for her first time. I do not know how else to put it. Not that I don't admire females who take charge of their pleasure.
En esta segunda parte vemos a la protagonista envuelta en una trama de traiciones y decisiones que no son las que ella querría hacer. ¡Cada vez más interesante esta historia! ❄

Nope, I cannot read this immature paperweight of a novel anymore. I barely made it through book 1, and I am not giving Ice Kissed any more of my precious time. I hope Amanda Hocking can write better characters and plot structure otherwise I will not pick up another novel of hers until i see improvement.
