i like cora reilly’s books most of the time, even when they’re over the top, but man was nevio insufferable for 85% of the book and aurora was so spineless the whole time. i personally would never take care of the secret love child of the man who broke my heart but whatever
I hated both Nevio and Aurora until nevio left for Italy once they both got together afterwards I really enjoyed the two of them and their relationship.

This truly has my heart! Her blindness love got in the way of something but as soon as she opened her eyes she stepped up…sorta and knew her worth and she reminded me very much of Gemma and Sofia is some ways. I truly do love her ever since!

This man is so unhinged and crazy! He makes you mad and he makes you blush with his words. This man let his darkness consume him which was bad but the character development during the book was nice to read and seeing him know how much he truly lost Aurora and was making it up for it.

I don't know who wrote this book but I don't think it was cora rielly because I've always loved every mmc she has written regardless of what they have done she always manages to have me convinced by the end of the book, but the only way I would have been happy with this ending was if it involved nevio falcon dead and Rory growing a backbone.
Don't even get me started on the parents in this book, they were a massive disappointment and felt like they weren't even the same characters that I originally read about. I just can't image fabi allowing his daughter to be treated this way and then just except their relationship.
I'm so sad that I didn't enjoy it as I had been waiting to read for so long and they had so much potential. I just feel like there was a missed opportunity for Rory having a storyline which involved racing and adamos family as it had been set up nicely at the end of his book.
0.75 stars are for the side characters that absolutely carried in this book and I am looking forward to there stories.
