Well, that was a bit disappointing, and I am a bit sad about it.
I loved the first three instalments of the series - interesting world building, adult characters, original setting. Good, great.
And then we go to the second part … and it’s all so childish and YA. The characters make no sense. Their dialogues are so false and hollow. Sure, the very end with the gods is super cool and I wished we had more of it. This very universe is so well made that I would love to have more. But more of this ? Nah. Wasn’t for me, I suppose.

Really did not enjoy this one as much as pretty much any other book in the series. It took me nearly a month to slog through this one.

Overall, the first half of the work was really slow and boring. The second half was a little bit more interesting. It kind of tied together a lot of the other bits that we had in the first books of the series. The ending was interesting, to be honest the most interesting part was the epilogue.
Although I am a little bit annoyed that woman who made Wayne’s life hell got all of his money.<\spoiler>
