This book was very disappointing. The story line was interesting but it dragged on and on and on...blah, blah, blah! It was boring, and anticlimactic! I stuck with it because I was curious if it would ever get better and I am the type of person that just has to finish what I have started.

I enjoyed this book, but as with the twilight books, I just wish the story could have been condensed. Stephenie Meyer has great ideas and develops interesting characters, but I often find myself skipping over parts because I get bogged down in too much detail. I hope someday to read a 250 page book by her.

The most interesting novel Stephenie has written. Glad I gave this book a chance.

Tried to read this- couldn't get past chapter 4. Oh well.

Someone recommended this and said "it was SO much better than Twilight". Well, that is true but it's still pretty simplistic as far as the writing is concerned. It was an interesting story line but way too long. Good for young adults. Not so good for real adults.

Ya know, this wasn't bad, I enjoyed it! And now that I've read the book, I can see that the movie is going to be REALLY different based on the trailer.

I'm really enjoying this so far! Way better than the Twilight series.

I really enjoyed this book. At first I felt that it was difficult to get into but after the first 150 pages or so it definitely picked up and I did not want to put it down. Meyer did well with this novel but I felt that the writing style was very similar to her others and because of that I do not know if I would exactly categorize it as an adult novel. I also feel that even though I did like it and would recommend it to others; I enjoyed the Twilight series more. All-in-all it is a great book though.

This is my favorite book.  It’s my comfort book.  It gets back into reading when I’m in a reading slump.  I’ve read it over a dozen times.
