I love this series, and I’m looking forward to book 3. Juno’s writing style is enjoyable, sprinkling in bits of pop culture in with witch history, and witchy adventures.

It probably would’ve been a 5 just from the twists but the first 50% of the book took a little too long to kick off for my tastes

First things first: these are the best cliffhangers ever but hot damn is that author mean
However I did think this book was less good than the first
It felt a bit artificial at times how societal topics were thrown in the mix, like if there were boxes to tick to be a relevant book
And it kind of obscured my reading at times
I loved Ciara’s narration, I think she was so interesting, but I think Theo was dulled a little which is a shame
