This book was Ok. I think i can see where the author wanted to go but I don’t think it actually happened. Most of the story was flashbacks within flashbacks and it made the story disjointed and confusing. I will say it is an interesting idea, but it reminds me of something that i saw on the news. The ending was anticlimactic and I wish there was more. Oh well, maybe the book wasn’t for me!

It was so intriguing, but it was SO boring. I didn’t care about the characters. I didn’t care what happened. I really wanted to like this one; I’m very disappointed.

Sad and quietly horrifying.

When I finished this book I just had to sit and think it about it. It stayed with me for a while.

This book follows a family with a tragic past and how each member of the family has dealt with this past. It was heartbreaking and writes detailed accounts of dealing with trauma. I loved how me met each of the children and their own experiences. I wish there was more of a twist in the ending but overall very good!
