What a whirlwind of a story!!! Fake marriage, military, suspense, romance, investigation….it is all so completely captivating and gripping! I could not put this book down! The story instantly picks up where “Help Me Remember” left off as Blakely Bennett walks into a party and right away we learn that she is married to Emmett, who is not as thrilled to see her. Emmett married? We know both were in the military together but married? The plot jumps right into this bombshell news and addresses why Blakely is in Rose Canyon. It turns into a combination of a fake marriage no one knew anything about mixed with an investigation Blakely is doing that led her to Bill in Rose Canyon. He was the suspect in “Help Me Remember.” A lot unpacked from the start that instantly had me hooked! The intersection of these two storylines are then so well written by Corinne as it kept the story intriguing and turning page after page! I also loved the addition of the flashbacks that she added in some chapters to help fill in the gaps of Blakely and Emmett’s past as it added even more depth to each of them! Another remarkable story out of Rose Canyon!!!
Audible: Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin absolutely knocked this narration out of the park! Their performances of the characters was spot on as they used their voices to perfectly showcase the intense emotions throughout the story. I could feel the emotions from anger, sadness, and also love through every line! 5 star performance!!

I enjoyed this book, it was not my favorite one but that is okay!
I really loved the marriage of convenience, second chance tropes because those are some good tropes
I did not like one of the plot twists because I predicted it and was not shocked by it. But the relationship between Blakely & Emmett was so cute and wholesome.
I cannot wait for the next book!

The suspense, the chemistry, the emotion. I loved everything about this story.
Emmett and Blakely have a history together. They were in the military together, they were best friends, but they are also husband and wife. They just haven’t seen each other for years, but now their paths cross again. I love Emmett and Blakely. I loved their history together, I loved seeing them reconnect with each other. Though, it wasn’t also easy for the two of them.
Blakely is pretty much a BA. I love her. She was a combat medic, which is where her and Emmett met, and now she is a PI and really she proved time and time again that she can really handle things herself. I may have a slight girl crush on her. Emmett, he is just easy to love. The man is protective and when he loves he loves, even if it may be something that hurts him.
This story is a rollercoaster from start to finish with your emotions. There were times I was questioning on if Emmett and Blakely would ever get the HEA they both deserve. There is a lot of baggage that they need to work through and at one point I was yelling in my head with the turn the story took….there were a lot of not so nice things being said and my heart was absolutely broken. IYKYK.
If you’re looking for a small town, suspense, second chance, marriage of convenience romance this is one to check out.

I’m so damn lucky I found her and married her before I knew I loved her.
I'm not sure if it's because I've been in a funk since being sick or what, but Give Me Love didn't hit me as much as Help Me Remember did.
Things I loved:
*Blakely, she was FIERCE
*Being reunited with all the characters from Rose Canyon

3.5 Stars Wow, Give Me Love by Corinne Michaels was a heart-wrenching romantic thriller that I could not put down. It has some of my favorite tropes: small town, second chance romance, and marriage of convenience. It's been almost three years since Blakely Bennett last saw her husband, Emmett Maxwell, after he was injured in the line of duty. The former best friends married when they were both serving in the military so that they'd be able to stay together, but Blakely fled after his injury because she felt their feelings change from more than just friends. Now a private investigator, Blakely is in Emmett's small town of Rose Canyon, searching for a missing girl who was last seen in the area. Emmett is less than thrilled to see his estranged wife and determined to finally get her to sign the divorce papers, but he can't help the pull that he still feels towards her. Blakely's case of the missing girl turns into something much more sinister, and puts both Blakely and Emmett in danger.
There are a couple of unexpected twists in this book and I'm not lying when I say that my heart stopped at the first one. It completely threw me through a loop and I devoured the rest of the book, finishing in the middle of the night because I had to see how it ended. The ending was worth the rollercoaster ride of emotions and of course a HEA is guaranteed. Such a good read and I can't wait for the next one!

The Rose Canyon series continues to be such a solid series-- this one centering around Emmett and his wife Blakely. It picks up exactly where the first leaves, and it has far more suspense (which I loved). Emmett and Blakely's dynamic and chemistry is perfection, and I particularly enjoyed how Blakely doesn't take orders from anyone! I can't wait to continue this series-- it has such a perfect balance of romance and suspense, and the combination of these two genres is quickly becoming a favorite!

“Death is all that happens to the people I love.”
This quote personifies Blakely. Everyone she’s loved has left her and she became a shell of a person when she couldn’t save her brother. She and Emmett are best friends, but when he's injured, she doesn’t think her heart can handle seeing one more person she loves die, so she breaks off contact after their one and only night together.
Now they’re back in each other’s lives for a different reason and she’s determined to show Emmett she’s all in and wants their marriage to be real. I loved the juxtaposition of Blake’s strength and determination with her wit and vulnerability. She was a complex FMC and I loved seeing her be brave and open herself up to Emmett.
Meanwhile, Emmett was naturally afraid to give all of himself to Blake after she walked away before. But he’s unable to resist her. "You are my weakness. You are the only thing in this world that means more to me than my own life". The chemistry, spice and banter were on point!
