How disappointing. I loved Private, the first book in this series. By the first paragraph of this book, I should have known I wouldn't like this one, but I loved the first one so much, I wanted to love this one too.

Rape, false memory syndrome, pedophiles, bisexual, gay, and just straight sex.. this book was so full of sex, and violence, it ruined the story line.

To make matters worse, you'd have to be pretty dense to not know "who dunnit" less than half way into the book.

I know a lot of Patterson books are violent and graphic, but I love his Womens Murder Club Series, and the Michael Bennet series, I had thought Private would be more like those. Unfortunately, it is not.

Listened via Audible. I started out really enjoying the Jack Morgan series, but after listening to 4 of them I'm starting to realize they all kind of follow the same cookie cutter story. This one focused on a different main character, but it was almost the same plot as some of the first first in the series. I suppose I'm just a little bored with the same thing over and over. I think I'm done with this series.

No loose ends in the book, started off slightly slow but picked up when the other elements of the story came together. Kind of felt like one big episode of law and order.
The background story had me convinced it was going to tie into the main plot but when it didn’t It was definitely was disappointing.  Good writer definitely has better work

Fun story. Nothing more nothing less. Takes place in london

I'm not too sure what I just read. So the two cases weren't really related to each other despite what the blurb says? So many characters I kind of forgot who was who as I went, and I'm still not 100% sure I understood one of the cases and how it was solved other than it involved a child pornography ring.

I really enjoy this series

I have always been a fan of Patterson and I am really enjoying the Private series. Jack Morgan is a great character and it's nice to meet other characters from different Private offices around the world. I recommend this book to all of Patterson's fans and I can't wait to read Private Berlin!

I love Private series from James Patterson. If you like suspense and mystery novels. They won't disappoint. James Patterson does a great job of making you connect with his characters in his stories. Each private series deals with new characters in different locations, but you are always rooting for them.

Probably one of my least favorite James Patterson books. I think maybe the style of writing that Mark Pearson does is something I don't care for. The story jumped around a lot and wasn't very coherent. There was one major story line that they never seemed to wrap up, or maybe they did, I have no idea. It was an easy read but definitely not a fan of this one.
