I didn't like this. It wasn't the first James Patterson novel I've read, and I gave up with all the others (which I probably should have taken as a sign). I like books that are fast paced and read like a film, and this definitely fitted with that style but I felt like it was too quick. I didn't get a feel for the characters, I didn't feel that it went into enough enough and it had a rather juvenile writing style about it.

Breezy, fun story. Quick read. Typical Patterson. I had only read the first of the series but after this one I look forward to the rest.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. I enjoyed this book probably a little more than the other Private books. As with all Patterson (and his co-writers)books, this was a quick read with lots of action and plot twists. I like Mark Pearson's writing more than some of Patterson's other co-writers (who are really the actual authors). I'd give it 4 stars compared to all of Patterson's book but 3 stars compared to all the books out there. Either way, a quick enjoyable read.

Great intro into another series that is part of a series. A few parts seemed to be predictable, but there were some good surprises.

I like this series - fun to 'visit' a different city each time.

Narrator has good male voices, but bad ( juvenile/whining) female voices, and annoying 'computer/distorted voice' voice.
