It feels unfair for me to rate this book because it was absolutely not for me. The romance does nothing for me and I found it all very cringe and cliche. The descriptions of the characters and the way they described each other was just too much. I went in completely blind and tried not to think ahead which made me enjoy the twist a lot more. Personally I think mentioning that a book has a twist RUINS the twist even if you have 0 details about it so I tagged that aspect as a spoiler. Go in as blind as possible for the most enjoyable experience but look into the genres to make sure this is exactly what you’re expecting it to be so you’re not disappointed like me.

This is a book that is best enjoyed knowing absolutely nothing, just knowing the triggers. It's a second chance at a romance that wasn't ready to be able to blossom and a few years later finds a window of opportunity to be happy.
Yeo is the man of the century. I have never read someone who will love with such intensity; with all his heart and soul. He is simply a character that is very hard to beat and throughout the book he won my heart.
Kady is an incredibly strong and complex woman. Who loves beyond measure and seeks to care for others in an admirable way, without even a little concern for herself. It was amazing to get to know her whole self and to get to empathize with her.

That's why we always have to be on the lookout for the people we love and take care of them at the slightest suspicious detail. I consider this book not only a story, but a reflection of many important issues as well as an inspiration to value who we are and the people we have around us. It also emphasizes the importance of taking care of our body, spirit and mind.

Yeo es el hombre del siglo. Nunca he leído a alguien que ame con tanta intensidad; con todo su corazón y su alma. Es simplemente un personaje muy difícil de superar y a lo largo del libro se ganó mi corazón.
Kady es una mujer increíblemente fuerte y compleja. Que ama sin medida y busca cuidar a los demás de una manera admirable, sin preocuparse ni un poco por sí misma. Fue increíble conocerla en su totalidad y llegar a empatizar con ella.

Maybe I watch too much tv but the “twist” was not buried at all for me. I could pretty much tell from the get what was going to happen. I did love the development and happy ending. Shines a great light on mental illness and the importance of family and love.
Wow what can I say about this book without giving away any spoilers. This book was unique and unlike anything I’ve ever read. This book is not for everyone. I went into reading this novel blind because it was the suggested route by many readers. The story was very dark, emotional and I was thinking at times what the hell is going on lol. Some areas of the book was disturbing but I am not going to go into details as I mentioned earlier. I rated it low simply because I was so darn confused at points in the book and I really didn’t like the complexity of the characters. Please read a few reviews other than mine because many people enjoyed it.
