GO IN BLIND! I've never started a book without really looking into a brief overview along with a review or two, so this was a first. Sadness, longing, passion, vulgarity, violence and sex. What a whirlwind of a book. This was nothing like I expected but it will easily become a top recommended read for me to others. This was refreshing because i haven't read anything like this. The characters seem rough around some details but it becomes very evident in the end why, then they all just fit and make sense. I had so many questions building up with this book so it drew me in and kept me intrigued. My biggest cons with this book and why it's not 5 stars is honestly a personal preference in writing style. It makes sense for there to be repetitive use of the same name i.e 'Kady. Kady. Kady. Kady', but the overuse of the repetition in so many places becomes a slight annoyance. The use of bouncing to the past and present is needed but then in future situations there are flash backs and does make some spots confusing. Overall I would highly recommend. What a fitting end and an uplifting note to end on. At the end of the day this book highlights something a majority of people will never experience or know someone who's trauma has resulted in such extremes. What a tragic but great insight into the chaos of life that people like Kady go through.
I didn't dislike this book, but the beginning was pretty clunky and I was ready to quit. It was so confusing and haphazard, and I hate it when a book starts that way. As time went on, things started to make much more sense and it flowed a lot better. Didn't love Yeo, though. He comes across too stalkery.
You must read this book ONLY if you have a HEART OF STEEL, and even then I was a bit nauseated. Not for the faint of heart. Reader beware.
That being said, if you can stomach it, it is a really difficult depiction of trauma and mental health, though I don’t love the way Yeo thinks he can be Kady’s end all-be all. Dark romance for sure.

So good
A mid book twist that just...wow.
It might feel weird at parts but keep reading! It will all make sense.

welp, this is dramatic. reminds me of my classmate mate. I think she's more dramatic than K. Webster but my ex might just might beat them both.
...
And like my ex, I'm done with this bitch.
I really thought me and K.Webster would blossom into something something special but no such look. I've tried three of her books and have given up on two. Time to find a new romance author folks.
