You want to know one of my favourite things? RICH PEOPLE BS lmao

I love books about crazy rich people and their crazy rich (fictional) lives đŸ€Ł

I ate this up and finished it in a day and a half!

She’s his finances younger sister. He’s the man she’s always loved. LIKE WHAT - sign me uppppp

Raven and Ares have been in each others lives forever. Their families are tight knit
. In the sense that Ares’ grandma has arranged all her grandkids marriagessss lol

See? How could you not be intrigued.

You need more? The sister doesn’t show up to the wedding and THEY HAVE TO GET MARRIED. This is my reality tv lol

The will they, won’t they. The incredibly awful sister. The family dynamics. The drammaaaa. Fair warning - this book will frustrate you in the best way if that makes sense. You want to shakkeee and maybe even push them into traffic lmao 😂 but it’s so good. Grab the popcorn and wine and a friend kinda good lololol

I can’t wait to read the next one - I need to know more about the grandma’s arrangements of everyone else đŸ„č

Thank you @raincoastbooks and @read_bloom for the copy- I love you forever 💋

This book was messy in the best way. I felt like Ares and Raven were having the same conversation over and over again. Raven was really irritating. But Ravens sister gave me the most rage along with her mother. I also went back and forth on whether or not I liked dear old grandma. It overall still had me in a chokehold.

This book gets some hate and I’m struggling to understand why at the level it does.
Controversial opinion; I loved Ares.
Is he top tier book boyfriend? Probably not. Is he easily manipulated due to his strong sense of moral coding? Again, probably.
Did he love the shit out of Raven? Yes!
Did he try everything he could to reassure her of his love? Yes!
Did he do special things like taking her to get a new wedding ring, at a jeweller he refused to take his ex-fiancé to, also yes.
Did he act like a possessive fool? Yes and yum, yes please. More of that!

There was a lot of angst in this book. I cried a whole heap and wished Raven had a better time, but Ares was not as bad as he is made out.

The book is good. Maybe I’m the problem but I’ll die on this hill. I loved this book and I loved Ares and Ravens story.
