It kept my attention, but it felt like too many twists were added in to the point where I became bored waiting for the story to progress.

The attempted murders/actual murder in the last 30 or so pages felt like watching a really cheesey, over the top, action film

DNF’ed at 37%.

This just wasn’t it for me. :< The story was intriguing, the writing was okay, but I just can’t seem to be hooked—and it’s important for me that when it comes to mystery books, I should’ve been reeled in early on.

Anyways, maybe I’ll try this again someday—but not now.
