This was an incredibly fast-paced, stacked full of suspense thriller. @alexfinlayauthor set the scene so beautifully, and it truly felt like a jump between years every time the point of view changed. There are so many perspectives, but it all comes together in a magnificent ending. If you are looking for edge of your seat kind of thriller look no more, this one has that covered.

Started out a tad slow but then picked up, read it in one go after the first few chapters. I liked the characters, and the book was filled with twists and turns. So while I was hoping throughout the entire book that the killer wouldn’t be Steadman (it seemed too obvious), it didn’t bother me too much that it actually was him. It still had me hooked and looking for hints. I will say though, Atticus’ death (maybe foreboded by his mom asking Sarah to take care of him?) still made me so sad. I really liked the ending with Elle and Chris though :)
I loved the short chapters in this book, makes it very easy to pick up and put down! I enjoyed this one, I had my suspicions but it was a good twist at the end.
