Felt like Irish rage bait.

Relateable because many of us choose the safest option rather than the one that’s actually best for us.

Most of the charecters fell flat for me though— they could have been more interesting, each one had scraps of a story, but it felt like we never really got past surface value.

Loved the Irish accents on the audiobook☘️🇮🇪

I wouldn’t say it was a bad book. It was actually quite good but for me it just didn’t go anywhere.

I felt sorry for both Julian and Edith but felt for Ava. I slightly understood Ava. Trying to fit into a new community can be so daunting and lonely so I did have quite a bit of empathy for her.

Would I like to know what happened next?? Thousand abd one percent yes

went to the sally rooney school of overanalyzing minuscule human interaction for pages on end which is fun and entertaining but ultimately makes for a story where not very much happens. still a good story, tho
