First I have to start off by saying that I have not had good experiences with "Multiple-Author" Series. Disavow single-handedly broke this bad chain of disappointment. Unbelievably beautiful, a masterpiece, magnificent, sensual, and utterly devastating in the best way!

Right away I was pulled into this story from the Authors Note, I am such a fan when Author's give you a tiny peek into their thought process or just give the readers' a little something sweet and extra to get you ready to start the story.

I went into this book knowing absolutely nothing. Not even the blurb. And I urge everyone to do just that if possible. I was so sucked into this world. Although, it was modern times I kept feeling the vibes of 1950's/1960's aesthetic. Back when the men were suave and the women put so much care into their looks, leaving the house in nothing short of perfection. I was also so surprised on how much mystery this book contained!

Rosalia (FMC) has been in a terrible car accident and lost her memories from the past couple years. She is essentially owned by the Mob and works at this unique Mob Establishment, that caters to the gangsters/mobsters/men of power. She was kind but also fierce; at times she did frustrate me but after really letting in sink in that the "mob life" is what she grew up in. I had a better grasp on why she acted the way she did...she was molded by mob rules. But, that said she still didn't lose her fire within her. Aniello (MMC) is this cold, stoic feared hitman/assassin who is of the highest ranks in the mob. This man, every time he spoke in his language had me weak in the knees. He was so extremely deadly and sexy at the same time. I loved him!!

The entire story felt almost like a "whodunnit". I was pointing fingers at everyone. I didn't know who to trust and I enjoyed having to chase the answers through the book. Rosalia has a roommate, Priscilla/Cilla that I loved so much. She is the Psychopathic fiesty Italian BFF I need in my life. The twists, the gut punches, the absolute brilliance of this story is chef's kiss. There is so much sensual beauty I nearly cried twice during this book. Also, the spice did not disappoint. I can't rave any more about how spectacular this read was. I still feel it marinating in my brain days later. And the ending?! Has to be one of the best HEA's I have ever read!

Some of my favorite quotes that deserve recognition are:

"In a world that felt dead, he made me feel alive, almost safe." "He was a fucking killer, after all."

"A man doesn't open and close your doors, he's not a man. You'll insult me if you open that door."

"Any of these animals think they're going to claim what's mine will know. They're going to smell me on you. And they're not going to think anymore. You belong to me, Rosalia."

"I'm your only Oath."

"With his free hand, he touched his lips." "Smiling, I placed a soft kiss on his lips, and then, like a deep whoosh of air after going too long without it, he freed me."

"If you bleed, I hemorrhage." "If you die, I die."

"I never knew how much of the devil existed inside of me until I met you." He kissed my shoulder. "Then I knew what it meant to be human. To fall, as they say."

I love this book with my entire heart and it's on my "Always Recommend List".

This was an absolute fantastic read from a new arthur for me. This story I can't even to begin to describe other than you need to read it. Wow is all I can say my mind is just whirling with everything that took place in it.

“I was told I’d burn if I ever disavowed. I’ll burn every day of my fucking life for you. I’ve been burning ever since the moment my eyes met yours.”

I felt like I was alice falling down the rabbit hole of all the secrets not to mention....sorry I'm not giving one of the biggest secrets away. You'll need to read it and get read for the wild ride because it's a doozy and have the tissues on standby.

“Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.”

My first book from this author and i will certainly keep reading.
A perfectly written mafia romance with plot twists, chemistry, a devoted man and a strong heroine.
Everything it needs for a good story.

Bella Di Corte has done it again! Another fabulous book!

Rosalia Lombardozzi and Aniello Assanti are apart of the organization in very different ways. Rosalia works at Club Desolation while Aniello Assanti is a hit man. Members of Club Desolation are not allowed to get involved with any of the women working there. Similarly, Rosalia knows that fraternizing with the men will lead to death, for both parties.

However, Rosalia and Aniello are drawn to one another, like a moth to a flame. Rosalia doesn’t remember two years of her life from a horrific car accident she was in. She is missing the time before the accident and the accident itself. As part of life in the organization, the rules of secrecy is engrained in her, along with the rule of not asking questions.

When the organization decides Rosalia is to marry a political figure, Rosalia and Aniello can no longer keep their relationship a secret. Shining light on their love for one another comes with great consequences from the organization…death for both of them. The fight to stay together and stay alive, all while Rosalia fights to remember her life before the accident, has great consequences. Will they survive? Will they end up together? Will the organization win in the end?

I didn’t finish this one. I don’t think the writing style is for me. I’m not going to rate it as I don’t have strong feelings of not liking it, it just didn’t hit the spot for me. For my personal taste, it had a lot of narrative and I wished there had been more dialogue, and I found the connection between the MMC and FMC to not be the style of romance I prefer. But others may really love this one if they enjoy those things. ❤️

So DAMN Intense and I could not get enough or put it down.
The things he says to her are meaningful in more ways than she understands.

Rosalia has worked for the organization most of her life. The job she has was taken with a vow to never get involved with the men of the organization. But she finds herself drawn to one man. Someone who should scare her but she knows that something existed between them, she just can't remember.

They are portions of her memory that she lost after an accident. She tries to unlock those memories as she tries to move forward with her life.

I don't want to give anything away, so that's all I'll say.
I love this couple and the love oaths they share with one another. This whole story is intense from beginning to end and the conclusion was satisfying.

Thanks so much to the author and Xpresso Tours for this ARC to review.

I am at a loss for words...this book is absolute greatness. The love between Aniello and Rosalia is intense, epic, and fated. The couple went through so much, their love was just destined to be. I love how Aniello and Rosalia were equals from the start and they were both so strong and willing to do anything for their love. There are certain books that you just never recover from and they just stay with you forever, this is one of these books. Bella Di Corte's writing is magnificent. She paints such a vivid and beautiful picture with her words. She is a master of her craft and her books reflect that. Each book of hers is completely unique, intense, and remarkable. She is the Queen of Mafia romance.
