I read this after Hallows Hills trilogy because of Maggie. And continued because Bridgette. I knew there had to an explanation for her behavior but I would have never expected this. I really feel for her well them both. And happy for their HEA. And of course loved moments with Skyla and the boys.

my favorite thing an author does with interconnected standalones is when they make you love one of the most hated characters from previous books. Sooo obsessed with Maggie and Bridgette, and I really thought there was no redeeming the bitchy behavior Bridgette had from the first book but I love her so much, she’s a badass

Maggie and Bridgette went through so much in this book they deserve happiness after everything.
I love Brad. He was supportive in their relationship and was such a great big brother but he kind of left near the end of the book. I wanted more scenes of him with Maggie and Bridgette.
Asher/Sky and her harem of men pissed me off. I didn’t care about their relationship I just wanted more scenes between Maggie and Bridgette. Asher was insufferable. Honestly I skipped a couple pages because I didn’t want to read about them.

I wanted to quit numerous times throughout this book, but all the comment's were saying that the twist and the relationship were so good. No. I don’t enjoy step sibling stuff. I could have gotten over that though. This was so trauma heavy with nothing good to make it worth it. Also the mommy moment grossed me out. A hate read.

Maggieand Bridgette's story. Wow!
I actually really loved this one, I didn’t think I would like it more than the first 3 but I for sure did. Bridgette was shockingly likable and I liked seeing the other perspective on why she was so crazy.
