So I finally read Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and I think it's such a weird book. I actually don't know how to feel about it. Liked the illustrations in this edition a lot and I think they helped me like the story more.

I've loved Alice's Adventures in Wonderland since the first time I read it. It's one of very few books that I reread every few years. Each time I'm amazed that it was written in the 1800's. Sure, Lewis Carroll was most likely tripping on some really great opiates when he wrote it, but it's so fanciful and fun. I love the way that Alice talks - to herself and to others. Granted, the illustrations are a bit creepy, but that doesn't take away from the fun of the story. Can't wait to read it again.

I realised I'd never actually sat and read this and figured it was way past time to do so. Didn't even get halfway through before closing the book, it was just awful. I know, sacrilegious words, but I hated it and life is too short.

I listened to half of this before going to see the play and half after. The after was much more enjoyable! Because its just so weird that it was not making sense. Once I had a visual, it was still really weird and random, but it was pretty cool. (The play was really cool, by the way -- and incorporated steampunk, which was very neat).

I heard of a local book group that read Alice, I Am, that explains about Alice and her life and relationship with Carroll. I am very curious to read it now.

Like all books I've read while already knowing the story, I got bored.
I have so many books I could be reading, I just couldn't waste my time on this one.
Sorry Lewis Carroll, I'm sure this is a great book, or so many adaptations wouldn't have been made out of it.
