There's always a plan, and wrench that throws it hilariously off-script, when Scaredy Squirrel is involved. Loved the details in the text features!

I continue to really like this series a whole lot. I love Scaredy Squirrel and how he faces a new fear each book. I think the premise is clever and the illustrations are fun and super detailed!

I cannot explain how much I love the Scaredy Squirrel Books. Yes, they are formulaic but, just like Law and Order, they are really enjoyable.
In this book, Scaredy sets out on a quest for the beach and finds himself surrounded by a crowd of people (if you look closely--you can even spot the Dog--from Scaredy's previous book).

I'm not sure but I think this may be my favorite Scaredy Squirrel book. Love the trek to the beach and what he learns.
