I enjoyed this as continuation of the Villains series, but, I have to agree with my sister that as a stand alone OR as a story about Ursula, it's lacking. It doesn't spend that much time or devotion to Ursula at all. It's a movement forward for the rest of the storyline, but it doesn't do much for her. And I feel like Ursula got way worse treatment than Maleficent or the Beast. She deserved more.

This book followed a good story, i enjoyed all of the characters that we are introduced to throughout the novel. The book incorporates different Disney stories throughout which is an aspect im not used to seeing so i really enjoyed that. The story never seems to standstill because of this and is very on top of itself in a way that allows the reader to stay entertained throughout.
slow-paced

Quick read. Nothing spectacular

Loved every bit of it. Easy and quick read BUT don't let that fool you, it's an amazing story full of surprises!

I really enjoyed the link to the rest of the books in the series, and the development of the character of Ursula. The writing is good and makes this an enjoyable read. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
