Just a sweet and cute book

A sweet romance where a woman trades homes with her grandma so they can each take a break from their normal lives (and so gran can look for a man in the big city) Cute, if predictable.

This follows Leena and her Grandma Eileen as they swap lives for two months. Leena moves up north to the countryside and gets wrapped up in small town life and drama whilst Eileen moves down to London to stay in a flat with some of Leena's friends. I thought this was such a fun idea and loved seeing how they both fit into each others world's.

Eileen was such a cute character and felt so realistic to me. Her plans for the community group in the flat were really sweet and she helped all of Leena's friends a lot too. Leena was struggling a lot with her sister's death and rebuilding her relationship with her mother. I think moving to the countryside really helped her put things in perspective.

Overall a really wholesome and quick read!

No bc it's so cute although I shudder at the idea that consulting can save the world

Oh, I love books with elderly characters. And this one had a plethora of them, such a delight! Didn't love the third act conflict, but I guess you can't have a romance book without one. Though realistically, I really don't feel like this book was about romance, that was very much secondary. I loved it for it.

Love love loved this book, it was so cute and cozy. It dealt with some difficult themes but was a very enjoyable read.
