Wow. I think this series has actually managed to build to a conclusion worthy of the length and start. While this falls short of the first two books which still stand apart as two of the best books I've ever read, it's still incredible. It's a little heavy-handed with some of the things BrandoSando has clearly learned since he started, but I really respect him for listening and growing. I'm a little mad about one character's arc, but with a cast this big only one is very good. I'm so excited to see where this goes from here and also like I need to do a full Cosmere reread while taking notes like it's going to be on my quals.

Siendo un libro tan extenso, con tantos personajes y lugares por cubrir, era más que evidente que algunas cosas quedarían descuidadas y otras quedarían en el aire. Es lo que hay. Sin embargo, Brandon Sanderson logra llevar a buen puerto la primera parte del decálogo. Aporta respuestas necesarias mientras abre por completo un nuevo frente narrativo, incluso por encima de cualquier otra cosa que ocurra en el Cosmere. Y eso lo dice un lector que solo ha leído esta saga del autor.

Hay varios bajones de ritmo. Siento que la historia de fondo de Szeth no fue tan interesante, quizá porque, llegado cierto punto, parece más un personaje de empuje que sirve más para lo que Kaladin iba a hacer que para su propio desarrollo. Aun así, cumple su función y logra cerrar adecuadamente esa parte de la historia.

Lo que viene pinta muy bien. Lo terrible es saber que Sanderson no regresará a este mundo hasta la próxima década. 2031, si bien nos va, según las estimaciones. Ni modo, habrá que leer en otros lados.
