This finale did take me quite a while to read, however, that is due to being on the tail end of a reading slump. I absolutely loved this book and these characters.

This brought everything together and did so in a perfect way. This book was action-packed and very emotional. We watch Aelin go from someone who doesn't know who she is any more to a god damn queen.

I think that the way she handles things isn't always the best way or easiest way. However, she is trying to protect the people she loves. In these situations, I would probably do the same.

Amazing conclusion to a wonderful series.

I was in a war with this book because of all the fillers it has. It could easily have been shorter.
Loved the ending but was really surprised Erawan was defeated waaaay sooner than Maeve.
The characters and their storylines were sublime.

The absolute horrors that some of these characters go through and the sacrifices they are expected make, had me in actual tears. The saving grace is nothing happens to Fleetfoot and Abraxos.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. The level of world building and connection to her other series is something of pure magic. But I swear to God if anything happens to these characters again... they all deserve peace and to live pls SJM.
