This is the second book in the series and is great. JJ Graves returns to Bloody Mary after nearly being killed in the first book with a whole new set of murders to solve. This book goes more into depth about her parents and the ending is OMG!!!!

this book was so good! the story line is just getting crazy. Jacks and J.Js relationship is just too sweet. i just love how hes always been waiting for her to finally see the light. and what she discovers about her self plus the ending has be on edge and cant wait to listen to the next one. i love being inside her head and hearing everything shes going through. in the last book she watched someone who she thought she loved die right in front her and almost die herself. not its been 12 weeks and guess what someone is killing someone again! you see her go through all the stages and recovery and its a beautiful thing. BUT THE ENDING!? what a way to end the book.

I wish I had more to say about this book but I’m a little at a loss. Nothing here was groundbreaking, exactly, but it certainly was an improvement on the first book... I’m beginning to feel like the big draw for this series is gonna be J.J. and Jack, not the mysteries. And even then, I’m not exactly rushing to get to book three. I’ve got it on hold and when I get it, I’ll get it.

The second book in the J.J. Graves Mystery series begins when J.J. comes back to town and literally stumbles upon a dead body. This horrible murder is one of the worst she's ever seen, and she's seen a whole lot. Not only is she jumping right back into the frying pan, she's also going to have to deal with all of the rumors going around, and of how Jack is going to handle things with her being there again. Jack was hurt when she left before, but he understood, now J.J. is going to have to figure out what she feels for him, and try to solve this murder before things start to get a little out of hand.

This one was extremely good! It had all of the suspense as the first one, but it also had more in depth stuff about J.J. and Jack. I really like where the author is going with them, and I can not wait to read more. This is truly a very great mystery, filled with awesome suspense, a beautiful romance, and more.

This was a great book that moved along quickly and had the right amount of mystery, action, and romance! This is the second in the series and did not let me down from the first one. It's interesting to see how J.J. Graves goes through the motions and steps and the author does a good job of making you feel what JJ feels as she goes through it all. Can't wait to read the third! Favorite funny line in the book was "What happened to sowing your wild oats?" "They've been sowed. I have a lovely patchwork quilt to show for it." Made me laugh so hard!

J.J. Graves has finally returned home to Bloody Mary. Unfortunately she discovers a body, a tortured body. But it's not the last. Sheriff Jack Lawson investigates, with JJ is her role as coroner and friend, helping.
A enjoyable, gripping mystery with a great cast of characters. And a good ending.

The wild life of J.J. Graves continues now that she had returned from her recovery time to her mortuary ownership and coroner responsibilities. The sex heats up, as well as the grisly murder count.

Don't plan on reading this one without IMMEDIATELY wanting to go to #3 in the series 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrel'
