Not for me

Spoilers: She's a witch, she's a form of dog, she's a vampire? She's suddenly friends with killian? It was too much going on. It barely seemed like the same people as book 1. Not a fan.

I feel like I should have liked this a lot more but there was just something missing. I didn’t feel as connected to these characters as I wanted to be. I also felt like the sex scenes in this book were oddly placed? Like they didn’t flow with the plot and were just put in the book to add spice. I’m not sure why I didn’t love it but it was still a good book and I’ll read the last one!

I absolutely abhor Isolde. She’s the worst FMC I’ve ever read, mainly because she acts like an insolent toddler when she doesn’t get her way (and she doesn’t get her way every chapter because she’s making stupid demands). Buckle in if you are starting it. I only finished because my reading bestie talked me into it
