Great cliffhanger

I devoured this sequel to King of Battle and Blood within a day and a half, and am truly looking forward to seeing where the next book in the series will go!
I agree with a lot of other reviewers about this book *feeling* like a sequel, but I really enjoyed getting to know the backstories of the characters that we were introduced to in book one. Not sure if I’m the minority here, but usually in fantasy series I spend the first book a little confused as I get all of the characters and their roles straight, so I didn’t mind this book delving further into their motivations. I spent this entire book trying to figure out who seemed a lil shady, and honestly? I loved that!
Overall, Queen of Myth and Monsters is a 4-star read for me — the gore and fight scenes were thrilling, the spice was spicy, and the twists this story took made it difficult to put this book down!
I’m super excited to see where Isolde and Adrian’s story goes in book three. I know it’ll be worth the wait! In the meantime, I’ll be getting to know Hades and Persephone…

I’m conflicted on this one. On one hand it’s setting up for the next book in the series and on the other hand the majority of this book is spicy scenes between Adrian & Isolde. I love a good spicy, fantasy book but some of it seemed pointless to the actual storyline and I wanted more explanation of the plot, storyline, etc. I really liked the first book in this series so I’m sticking with it when the third book is released but I’m not sure how to feel about where this story was left at the end of this one…

WOWOWOWOW there is so much happening in this book. I will say that Killian somehow becomes less annoying, as if that was possible. Still love Adrian with all my heart.
I struggled with this book for months. I’m not even sure if I want to continue the series at this point.
