Elle Kennedy has worked her way into my heart. I love rom-com type of books, and this one just hits perfectly. I listened to it as a standalone audio. I loved it so much, I am gonna buy the physical paperback. Along with the two before it in the series. But the comment about her living in Hastings, brought me back to the Graham Effect. Ugh Elle, you genius. Tate is so high up on my list of lovable characters, along with Luke Ryder and such. ❤️❤️ The fact two both Elle Kennedy Universe characters voice perfectly by Teddy Hamilton🥵❤️

Purging yourself from toxic family members is so liberating. This book shows that secrets always catch up to you and you’ll be more than lucky if redemption meets you at the end. The fling turned into relationship was very nice set up. The spice top notch. I loved it!

I thought this was a YA book when I requested it from NetGalley. It's not and it's pretty porn-y, which is fine but the cover really misled me on the content. The Summer Girl is fine for a quick beach read, but it mostly requires a willing suspension of disbelief unless you know a bunch of 23 year olds that own luxury hotel. That's my review: mostly harmless, definitely porny and more than a little ridiculous.
