A sweet ending of the trilogy. We love reconnecting with family and cutting out negative people from our lives.

I enjoy the banter in Kennedy's books.

Loved Tate and Cassie. They’re so cute together and the perfect personalities for the Avalon Bay series <3

Such a cute book. Is this the end of Avalon Bay? Idk.

I was unsure at the beginning but the end of this book left me with all my feels. I ended up really liking this book and would recommend

Thanks so much to St Martins Press and Elle Kennedy for ARC. Elle is one of my favorite authors. This was a cute and quick read for me. I loved Cassie and Tate. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance read. To be honest you can never go wrong for a book written by Elle!

4.5 Stars rounded up! We return to the beach town of Avalon Bay in The Summer Girl, where rising college senior Cassie spends the summer at her grandma’s home at the Bay. She’s determined to have a summer fling, and when she meets the very attractive and charismatic Tate, she’s immediately smitten. Even though there are immediate sparks, Tate wants to keep their relationship platonic and work on being friends. As the summer goes on, they form undeniable chemistry and explore the possibilities of a situationship for the rest of summer.

I feel like each book is better than the last in this series, but The Summer Girl can definitely be read as a standalone with minimal spoilers. Even though the characters definitely feel young and a bit surface-level, this was a nice summer escape read that would be perfect to enjoy by the pool or beach. Teddy Hamilton and Caitlin Elizabeth voice these characters flawlessly in this 12 hour audiobook.

Thank you Netgalley, St. Martin’s Press and Macmillan Audio for the advanced review copies.

*Can be read as a standalone.*

This was a light-hearted and fun read about Cassie and her journey to find a summer fling. It's a typical YA romance with a few steamy scenes. Even though the drama at the end was rushed and came out of nowhere, I enjoyed it because it brought more depth to the storyline. I only wished it didn't all happen at the end.

If you're a fan of YA romance and summer flings check this novel out.

***Thank you to NetGalley, Elle Kennedy, and Macmillan Audio for graciously sending me the audiobook to review. As always, all thoughts are my own.***
