I would say it would be one of my favorites however I feel likethey shouldn’t have been together. I was mad that Zahra took him back after the whole hospital scene( which really pissed me off cause he treated her like a burden in which I was like wtf is wrong with you she’s laying in a hospital bed where she almost died , and bestie is all like oh if she died in my bathroom that would suck/ be a lot of paper work. Bro really made me mad there like fr) miss girl put so much trust in him like he had her heart and soul wrapped around his fingers and he squished her heart like a grape. My trust issues are far more extreme I would have left him to get hit by a car and not care by that point.

This book was a light read, funny, grumpy x sunshine trope, a little enemies to lovers, and happy ending. It had me squealing by the end of it, because the development of the characters were such a huge plot point in the story.
The reasoning behind me giving the fine print only 3,75 stars, is because I felt the writing was a little all over the place, and didn’t exactly fulfill my expectations for a 4 star read. The main love interest was also a major red flag at times, but he picked up in the end and came out as not to bad after all. I did enjoy the relationships with family and friends in the end, and would definitely pick up this book to scour for future book ideas, as it had some key points worth noticing.

Although I thought the book came off as a red flag sometimes (as I wrote in my review), as I look back at it now I don’t really think so. The book had so many loveable moments with the main characters, and you grow to love them more and more throughout the book. And as I have read terms and conditions (the next book in the duology) and have seen theresami_leigh's review

and rowan really isn’t that big of a deal. he could have easily avoided getting ‘heartbroken’ and breaking zahras heart if this dude just went to therapy. he has so much emotional trauma and childhood trauma he can’t just “fix” himself bc he saw zahras presentation and is moved. i’m pretty sure if this were real life they would have broken up after a couple of months again just bc he does not know how to function and it would just hurt her to stay
