So many things went down in this volume!

Touka and Kaneki are not only finally together, but Touka's pregnant and she & K are married! Finally!

Yet, of course, we aren't allowed to enjoy that without some bittersweetness. Apparently, because Kaneki isn't a true ghoul, all of the kagune use and healing is causing him to age at an accelerated rate.

This volume gave me “calm before the storm” vibes. There were just so many happy moments for the characters. I just know everything is going to go to shit now 😭 

The calm, happy scenes were definitely a nice change of pace and I love this volume for that.

ahhhh, ken and toka - finally! but everything else is messed up.. but I'm glad some of the quinx seem to also not like how things are turning out. hoping for a reunion!!
