A quick 30 minute read that confirmed everything I had known and researched about eating. Now to just take its advice... aka the hard part.

Great book with valuable advice in an easy to read format with easy to understand language. Most is common sense, but it's good to see it in writing and a lot if the explanatory notes made things make seen even more sensible. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with their weight or health who needs down-to-earth, sensible, easy to follow advice without technical jargon or someone trying to sell you something.

The book had a lot of simple information. I think that it would be a good read for someone that really didn't know much about nutrition at all. I read it in about 30 minutes and actually reread some of it. I think I was expecting something more comprehensive. I may try one of his other books though as I liked his style of writing.

Loved the common sense rules.

I love every book of his I've read. I'm always inspired by them & appreciate the research included. It's not pseudoscience!

A slight, useful pamphlet of all the things you should remember but don't.

It's hard for me to review this because, personally, I didn't find anything here that I didn't already know - but - having said that, that doesn't mean this wouldn't be a great book for someone just starting out on trying to eat/live in healthier manner. So it's usefulness for me? Zero. For someone else? Could be the jump start they need. Even with that I do feel the book could have been fleshed out a little more. Simplifying things for the general public is probably a good thing in today's ADD society if you really want to try and grab them but you might be taking that a *BIT* too far when it looks and reads like you wrote the whole book, from start to finish, over the course of one long weekend.

Easy quick read if you're interested in the take-aways from In Defense of Food (Pollan's previous book) but less interested in the research that went into deriving them.

A concise little reminder.

Follow-up to In Defense of Food - this should be required reading for anyone who eats.
