It wasn't until the very last page everything made sense --- the style, the story, the everything---simultaneously, though, not too fond of the ending.

Fascinating premise; There were a lot of characters to keep track of and references back to early in the book, which I personally had a hard time remembering. I probably should have read this in print rather than an e-book, where it would have been easier to flip back and forth. At the end, I was left with a feeling of a series of individual vignettes without a cohesive whole.
