Honestly I did enjoy it even though it was a bit cringy at times. Calling MMC my king every other time was a lot. This is the pinnacle of insta love where MMC marries FMC literally the day after he met her but it was true to what it’s about and delivered it. Can be recommended as a light read

The first 50% was a solid 5 stars. But after that… I literally gagged at some parts and just wanted the book to end.

I love King, but he is hands down the most unhinged man I’ve ever read about.
And Savannah? Absolutely adorable—I adore her.

Then Dom showed up, and from that moment, I couldn’t stop thinking about him. Honestly, I wanted to finish King’s book just so I could start Dom’s.

And Hans… oh my god. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to read his book and finally understand what’s going on.

I'm not usually a fan of forced marriage, but this one worked. Do I like the "dont touch my wife" line now? I think I do.

The sex is hot all around, but the peak scene is when

Nero and the rest of the Alliance tie up a random rapist in the basement and King and Savannah fuck in front of him and then King cuts off his dick and kills him.

Kinky.

The third act break up lasted about 10 minutes and then they

renew their vows on a beach. A month later, King cuts off a guy's head

and that's how the book ends.
