The story
Taylor and Weston have been friends forever, except that both have secretly been in love with each other. Since Taylor tried to kiss Weston when they were 13, and he was stunned into silence and inactivity, she has thought he doesn’t like her like that. When she discovers her boyfriend of two years is kissing someone else, Weston is adamant he must tell her how he feels.
My thoughts
I am reading the series and this is the little novella in between book 3 and 4 of the main books. It’s sweet and charming and showcases how Weston has been showing all the love through Acts of Service, not being interpreted well by Taylor! A fun read!

The air is crisp here, the leaves are turning beautiful shades of oranges, golds, and reds, and Halloween is around the corner. But I am in the mood for all the Christmas romance books right now!!!

Sam and Chase are two characters I'd like to know more about; this is a standalone book in a series, 4 out of 6, and Chase is in the next one. This is the only book in this series I've read so far, but I'll probably read through the rest of the books. I find these one day reads are perfect when needing to get out of a reading slump.
