I had such high hopes for this book, it’s been on my reading list for almost two years and it was supposed to be good. i maybe just couldn’t get behind the writing but i really just didn’t like the main character or his love interest or like the random plot jumps and left turns. maybe someone will like it more than i did.

Well written, well translated, depressing, artistic. I found the lack of empathy the main character excited annoying. He was so wrapped up in his own life (honestly as we’re all the other characters). Defiantly sad and summery.
