Some parts were so gross I had to skim over them. Otherwise a clear narrative with some classic horror tropes
This is a great horror novel. My only warning: if you're like me and read a lot while on your lunch break, I would not advise with this book. I'm not typically a squeamish person, but a lot of descriptions in this book made my stomach turn.

I just could not get in to this one - even though it should be perfect for this time of the year. Maybe it is my mood, maybe I am not the target reader, maybe I do not like horror as much as I think I do? I've heard this is the scariest book ever, but I just found it LAME! Don't take my word for it though - definitely check out other reviews.
