I can't for the life of me figure out how this series has more than one star.
Let's talk about it, because authors have got to stop doing this shit.
The main theme of this series is the child vs. adult.
Posey is described as being just under 5'1" while the tallest of her harem is 6'8." That's a 1 foot 7 inch difference, guys. If that's not child vs. adult like, I'm not sure what is. It's disturbing.
Additionally, Posey is consistently (and I do mean consistently) described as sweet and innocent by her mates and nearly everyone around her. Her personality can be described as innocent, naive, inexperienced. In fact, her mates often refer to her as 'inexperienced.'
The entire series goes on like this. It's disturbing on a molecular level. I'm not sure why authors think a FMC being short and petite and having gigantically tall male romantic interests is cute--it's not. It's weird and gives off pe*o vibes.

This is the most juvenile and silly book I’ve read all year. The dialogue is awful, the plot came straight out of middle school fanfiction from the mid 2000s, and the characters are so shallow and uninteresting I can’t make myself finish it even though I’m less than 40 pages from the end.

This was a lovely story, and a lovely attempt, that sadly failed utterly.
The dialogue is often stilted, overly formal, and comes across as cringe.
The FMC’s wolfs voice is juvenile, awkward, and somewhat annoying.
As for the details and story development, the author really should have done more research, or consulted with a more knowledgeable source.
I could have forgiven so much, skimmed over, and endured the dialogue issues, but not this as well…too much.
The FMC is abused for approx 6 years, kept imprisoned, and unable to leave the house for this time period (starting somewhere around 12).
When she is rescued and has to leave the house for the first time, she naturally panics and has difficulty.
Disappointingly, this is quickly overcome, followed by the next day, she is able to visit a shopping centre no problem, even able to walk off on her own for a time, without any panic, agoraphobia, or anxiety…

The trigger warnings are not all in this first book, but will come in the other books in the series!
I really tried. And it’s not a bad story, it just isn’t well written. I think it’s likely a first book. The writing seems immature. Not much showing and a lot of telling.
Three childish nature of the language and characters was just too much.
I enjoyed this book a lot! There were a lot of characters though and at about 30%, I needed to go back and take notes to remember who was mated to who, who ran what pack, who called Posy what nickname and who’s wolf was who. I’m gonna see if I can create a character page soon.
Other than that, this is the first clean romance I’ve read in a long time and the plot was so good that I didn’t even care. Love it!

I'm glad that there's an option for 0 stars
This was literally nothing
I've seen the dumb shifter werewolf mate genre for a while on my feed so I thought "why not give it a try" wish I didn't there was so much in this book that somehow boils down to nothing
There's no explanation for any of the shifter lore here. It's based mostly on the audience already having some background knowledge of the shifter genre to understand
Questions I have are: shifters are kept a secret, why? They have territories for their packs: is it a reservation deal, do they follow county lines or state maps? There's other supernatural creatures too, and magic exists, do they also have reigns or kingdoms here or is it just werewolves? Why do the Wolves count as a completely separate being and if they worship a Moon Goddess why isn't the shifter packs matriarchal?
Ignoring all that, and the plot is not there. It's just a comfort wish fulfillment of 5 guys worshiping and simping over their Mate the FL. That's fine I get the appeal, but there's really no stakes with the relationship. Prologue is quick and easy backstory of FL abuse. Then 1st chapter Mates appear and kill dad and now she lives with then and is taken care of with love and affection. That's it. The only time there's action is be abuse we get introduced to another side plot of another abused girl running away while the abuser hunts her down and she finds out shes the King's Mate. Nothing to do with the 1st girl Posy. More actiony since there's an active threat but it's still secondary characters.
Don't remember what any of these guys look like, they all sound vaguely the same.
Also, 18 year Olds running a full ass community? They babies. And I don't know how difficult that really is since we never see them at their normal duties and jobs.
And overall, nothing is resolved in this book. At all. The abuser for 2nd girl is still at large and horrible. They capture some dudes sure but...no resolution. The book Literally Ends the night BEFORE all of the 5 Mates and King go to basically storm the castle. That's it.
AND THE ENTIRE STORY IS JUST THE COURSE OF A WEEK
Like I like stories where a person learns to love and trust again, but everything is so instant that there's no stakes and nothing to gain. Definitely not reading the rest of the series, or any other shifter book for that matter
