The plot jumped around a lot but I enjoyed learning about medicine.

I really enjoyed Do No Harm, but Admissions seems to be filled with rather dire (dare I say ableist?) views on disability, has a weirdly colonial streak alongside meandering and endless passages about home renovation. A shame.

Wow! Low-key was not expecting me to be so invested in this book as it is nonfiction. I soon realized that Dr. Marsh is extremely intelligent and witty.
For people who get triggered by talks of suicide, blood, and surgery, this book is not for you.

I definitely found parts of this book fascinating, as a scrub nurse who has not had a chance to be involved in any neurological surgeries yet Marsh's explanations of neuro surgeries definitely helped scratch my itch. That being said, I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't more discussion about neurosurgery and instead there was a focus on Marsh's life and retirement. Marsh is by no means uninteresting, but as somebody who picked this book up for the surgical subject matter, it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Insight into the NHS pre pandemic.

The life of a remarkably intelligent man.

Found the book didn't flow very well...
