Did I read this book in four hours? Yes, I did. This series was not what I was expecting. Through all of the constant drama at the end of it the story came to an end and I was happy with it. I feel like all of the characters grew and became who they were meant to be.

Finishing this series is bittersweet. We start this series with Tessa being 18 and end it when she is in her early 40's. Hardin being 20 or 21 at the start and ending in his early to mid 40's. In the span of 4 books, we get to watch Hardin and Tessa flourish, break, grow outside of their dependency on each other, and grow together alone and together was absolutely beautiful. Their story isn't the usual perfect fairytale story. It's a story of betrayal, love, hate, forgiveness, growth, and many other struggles. It's ugly and gorgeous. It's annoying at times but also inevitable. It is their story and theirs alone. It was the story of Hardin Allen Scott and Theresa "Tessa" Lynn Young.

So much character growth and development with this final book in the series.
I loved seeing how the author brought everything together in the end, and really wrapped it up. Perfect ending to this series!

Wow! What a ride! I read the 4 After books back to back. The first book infuriated me, yet I could not stop reading. I don't want to give away spoilers but will say that the characters develop and change throughout this series. The final book is worth the angst and irritation and reaction to the characters in the earlier parts. Believe me, there will be a reaction. I wanted to slap Hardin and shake Tessa, many, many times. At last, I hated for it to end but thought the ending was perfect.

This was actually the best book in the series. It had a slightly different touch to it. But unfortunately the ending felt kind of rushed.
