For the type and genre, I liked this book much better than the first one. Probably because I liked the lead characters better.

Pleasure is their ultimate weapon . . .

Can not belive I waited so long to read this series!! Desire Unchained is amazing, personally I cant think of one thing not to like.

Runa Wagner never meant to fall in love with the sexy stranger..

I loved Runa Wagner and Shade, loved the whole anger, love thing that built between them. But I admit learning more about Wraith was also something I loved about this book I didn't really like him in the first book, but this one it all started to make sense. I felt he really grew on me, his struggle, some of his past coming into light making it easier to sympathies with him and I can not wait to read his book!!. Also, the parts about Kynan and Gem. Ah, what will happen there...

..Shade hoped he'd seen the last of Runa and her irresistible charm.

Ah, I loved many more things but it will ruin the book if I continue to babble. So I LOVED it and will read the next (soon!) also I will continue to berate myself for not reading the series sooner!!

As their captor casts a spell that bonds them as lifemates, Shade and Runa must fight for their lives and their hearts-or succumb to a madman's evil plans.

I like this series but for some reason I always take to long to actually finish one book, nothing wrong there but it’s a reality for me. The best part for me is the world. So different and there are so many characters with feeding habits and dangerous points. I usually think the couple is on the sidelines from the big picture. This time we got more from the couple, but the fight also got more closer to them.

Shade we met on the previous book and he’s a seminus demon with a curse, strange right, but completely understandable, because we all know these demons need sex and Shade messed with the wrong female, because her husband decided to made a statement and now Shade can’t fall in love.

Runa we never met, but she was talked about on the previous book, but the problem with her was just humanity, because demons can’t mate with humans, but we also realized really fast that she was bitten by a werewolf and now one a month she howls to the moon. So she evolved and now is more than just a human, but Shade still has the curse problem, so mating between these tow was completely off question, until the sicko brother decided to play with people emotions. I liked this couple and they are so in love, it’s actually really cute.

I got to say these Seminus are really crazy without a female, I fear for Wraith after the way this book ended.

I'm still deciding whether or not I like this series. I put this one off for a long time and...I just don't know. I wish the demon world was a little better explained. I wish there was more action. I wish the brothers were more distinct and unique. It all feels a little too familiar but not quite as interesting as BDB.

I enjoyed Runa but she changed her opinion on Shade awfully quickly. The curse and the backstory with Roag was pretty cool, and I liked how Shade had to overcome his issues to find peace. But honestly I thought Kynan and Gem's story was much more interesting. Now that their path is even more uncertain it makes me want to find out what happens to them. And Wraith!

I'll give it one more book before I give up.
