i am not a huge fan of friends to lovers because half the time yall are so blatantly in love. but they were cute :)
the whole runaway bride thing was so funny and i really love how all of elsie's books feel so movie vibes. i just wish i would've read the other series because all of violet and her besties were giving me fomo but my bad! didn't realize there was required reading!
i also like how reckless was half introed in this. so fun.
catch me sobbing when harvey gave jasper some land. tew much for me.

IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BACK IN CHESTNUT SPRINGS 🤠
This book had all the things I’ve come to love about an Elsie Silver book - a feisty FMC, a teddy bear of an MMC, found family, banter. I loved it all!!
As the rankings currently stand, Jasper is my second favorite Eaton boy. He is sweet (when she discovered the tattoo he got for her I actually melted) and selfless but also sexy and strong.
Sometimes in a romance book it can feel like the MMC is in deeper than the FMC but in this relationship they were just both so invested. I loved how long and how fiercely they both loved each other. I appreciated that there wasn’t a real third act break up because it was obvious they would just get back together anyway.
I feel like we got to learn a lot about Jasper and his experiences but when I finished this book, I didn’t know as much about Sloane. I wish I felt a little more connected to her. Also, I feel like I was reminded one too many times that they had been into each other since childhood. Like you’re soulmates, we get it. But still, I loved this story so much!
The unsung heroes of this book were: Harvey being an absolute dawg and the hilarious text messages at the start of each chapter.
